Graphic Designer - Remote - Pro-bono

HOT POSITION: We are looking to fill this position immediately.

Would you like to change the world and be a part of an exciting media start-up focusing on enabling communities and putting "social" back into social media?

This is a wonderful opportunity to directly work with our global team and our board, which includes folks like:

• Sunny Vachher, international award-winning producer and UN Creative Ambassador.

• Kayla Ancrum, best-selling author.

• Topaz Adizes, Emmy-Award winning director.

• Trevor James, famous YouTuber.

• ...and many more.

The Role

• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements

• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas

• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand

• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic

• Amend designs after feedback

• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Requirements and skills

• Proven graphic designing experience

• A portfolio of illustrations or other graphics

• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)

• A keen eye for aesthetics and details

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

Commitment and Location:

8-10 hours per week, we do ask for a long term commitment 6-12 months. Many of our current team work full-time and volunteer in the evenings and weekends.
