Want a fun and novel place to volunteer? Enjoy working with kids and looking to give back in a positive way for families? Then join us and volunteer at the B&O Railroad Museum, the birthplace of The American Railroad!

We are searching for community members interested in supporting our museum programs and initiatives to ensure patrons have a safe, supportive, and unique experience learning about the technological advances through railroading.

Tasks would include:

-Dusting and cleaning the train collection

-Support Visitor's Services and Education Department in youth programming such as kids rides and school visitings.

-Help patrons find their way through the museum.

This is a part time commitment and we can build a schedule around your desired time!

If you are interested, please contact the Volunteer and Outreach Manager, Sam Hughes, at shughes@borail.org or 443-627-2393.
