Volunteers United/AmeriCorps Seniors recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County, matching volunteer interests and skills to create a meaningful, rewarding volunteer experience.
The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to help the less fortunate and those in need by providing goods and services when necessary.
Volunteers are needed to assist in Hobe Sound location in the office and food pantry.
Duties include answering telephones, stocking food shelves, taking inventory, packing food bags and assisting clients.
Requirements may include standing during shift 3 hour shift. Must be able to lift 10 pounds, working closely with others and have good customer service skills.
