Welcome and register individuals at the Homebuyer Education Resource Event (H.E.R.E.) for the community in San Fernando.

Why: The event will highlight Habitat's campaign on Advancing Black Homeownership and promote the State funded CalHome Program.

Who: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles seeks to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope, envisioning a world where every person has a decent place to live.

What to Expect: Assist our Volunteers Department with checking in participants for our annual Homebuyer Education Resource Event.

What's Required:

A smile! Water bottle Clothes you don't mind getting dirty in! Sturdy, close-toed shoes

Be willing to follow directions, work well with others, and understand English.

Tech savvy is a plus!

All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.

Volunteers aged 16 - 17 require an adult chaperone to be present with them while volunteering. Also must have a parent or guardian sign the minor's release and waiver of liability form and bring it to the site on the workday.
