Assist our Special Events team with a variety of support tasks and responsibilities for the Power Women, Power Tools build.

Why: Help community members improve their quality of life by helping repair their homes for low income families.

Who: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles builds and renovates homes in partnership with God and people everywhere with a goal of eliminating substandard housing by making decent, affordable housing a matter of conscience and action in our communities.

What to Expect:

Ensure participants are cool and hydrated

Collect trash in support of our zero-waste event,

Organize donated supplies,

Be part of the end-of-day wrap-up of our Power Women Power Tools build.

What's Required:

Attire: Long pants or modest shorts and hard sole closed-toe shoes. We will provide you with an event T-shirt. Please bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

Willing to follow directions, work well with others, flexible and positive outlook

Understand English or have someone along that does

Lift 15-20lbs.

Volunteers ages 16 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult and have a parent or guardian sign the minor's release and waiver of liability form to present at Check-in. Minor Release

When:

Time: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
