Donate Essentials is an international youth-led 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are currently recruiting interns for our 2024 Summer Internship!

This program is designed for individuals who are passionate about storytelling, social impact, and media. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to our digital magazine, which serves as a platform to highlight issues, share success stories, and mobilize support. The internship offers roles in journalism providing a comprehensive experience in nonprofit media. About this Internship * 10-15 hour per week internship * Journalism Interns will research, interview, write, and edit articles that highlight the impact of our work. * Graphic Design Interns will design engaging visuals that complement our articles and campaigns, including graphics, layouts, and digital media. * Digital Marketing: Interns will help manage our online presence, from content creation for social media to strategies that enhance audience engagement and broaden our reach for both the magazine and for Donate Essentials. Eligibility * Either High School Student or University Student * Fluent in English * Comfortable using digital communication tools and platforms as this internship will be conducted remotely * Access to a reliable internet connection

Description

We started during the COVID-19 pandemic by sewing masks and we have expanded to over 9 states with over 100 volunteers. Currently, we are working on our blog and our programs.
