3D Animator (Remote/Unpaid Volunteer):

Join Empowered Futures as a 3D Animator and be part of our futuristic and innovative Non-Profit organization dedicated to supporting emerging adults as they transition into adulthood. Through self-empowerment, business mentorship, and support, we strive to build confident, emotionally intelligent, and resourceful adults. At Empowered Futures, we believe in the principles of integrity, goal setting, and responsibility, using them to inspire hope. Despite the complexities associated with this issue, we firmly believe that collective efforts can prevent suicide by instilling healing, raising awareness, and promoting mental health and well-being.

This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and contribute to making a significant impact on individuals' lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3D multimedia projects involving computer graphics.

  • Coordinate and create illustrations, scanning and photo retouching.

  • Use imagination, judgment, skill, and experience to design life-like animations.

  • Create 3D art animation assets for interactive productions.

  • Design brochures, logos, presentations, print ads as needed.

  • Change and control colors, shadow, texture, light, etc to create life-like animations.

  • Develop animation composites and renders for interactive productions.

  • Manage and store 3D animation images and files.

  • Coordinate with different departments to develop and execute computer animation projects.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer animation, 3D/graphic design, fine arts or a related field

  • Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Maxon, CrazyTalk, or Autodesk Maya

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Portfolio of work with a wide range of 3D animation

  • Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of animation layouts, typography, print, and web

  • Experience with both print and digital media
