ORGANIZATION: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

This position is for a second set of volunteers at the Defeated Creek Day Use area. You will alternate with another set of volunteers. Typical daily duties would be to open the gate, staff the booth, greet visitors, ensure guests are using the Ventek payment machine, exchanging receipts for annual passes, and providing general information about the area to guests. Once a month check the life jacket loaner stations and relay to Ranger staff if any are missing or in need of replacement . Friday work hours are typically 3 pm to 5pm. Saturday and Sunday work hours are 9 am to 3 pm. Campsite is provided.
