VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY! (United States Residents Only)

Position Overview: Are you passionate about event planning and community engagement? We are seeking a dynamic Event Coordinator to join our team to help organize and manage fundraising (& other) events. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in event management, network with community leaders, and make a tangible impact on the lives of immigrants.

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and execute events such as workshops, cultural festivals, and fundraisers.
Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and volunteers to ensure successful event execution.
Develop event marketing materials and promote events through various channels.
Manage event logistics, including venue setup, registration, and attendee engagement.
Evaluate event outcomes and provide recommendations for future improvements.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Creativity and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous event planning experience is a plus but not required.
