As a Disaster Action Team (DAT) Specialist you will work with a team to offer access to food, clothing and shelter while providing immediate on-scene response to local disasters.

Responsibilities Include:
-Respond with your team to local disasters, mostly house fires, offering care and comfort
-Meet on-scene with individuals and families impacted by disasters
-Maintain communication with team and related personnel ensuring continuity and safety.
-Attend regularly scheduled meetings and stay current on all training.
-Additional related duties as discussed with supervisor.

  • Orientation or Training
  • Customizable on-call 4-6 hour shifts, WHICH YOU SCHEDULE, totaling 24 hours per month. IF nothing happens during your shift you go about your normal day, IF an event occurs the expectation is you can respond with your team immediately.
