Good Samritian is an older adult living facility. Good Sam in Loveland is in need of multiple volunteers for various different tasks. However, all include personable experiences, relationship building and connection focused. Some are short term and some are longer term, reach out so we can help place you where you think it the best fit!CURRENT OPEN OPPORTUNITIES

• WELCOME COMMITTEE - SENIOR LIVING (Resident-Only Opportunity)
• Be a peer mentor on the Welcome Wagon and help your new neighbors get connected. Mentors are needed for Blue Heron, Boulevard, Garden View, and the Twin Homes.
• Time Committment is as little or as much as you choose.

• COUNTRY STORE CLERK: Wednesdays 12pm - 2pm
• Assist customers with locating and selecting items for purchase.
• Enter customer's purchases on the cash register using Department 1 for food items and Department 2 for non-food items.
• Collect customer's payment and make change.
• Replace inventory on shelves as directed by store manager.
• Assist with keeping the store tidy and presentable.

• Welcome People
• Direct people where they need to go
• Call Marketing Dept. to take with prospective residents
• Assist Vendors by calling department that is appropriate
• Assist getting deliveries sent to Business Office
• Provide Information Packets as appropriate
• Direct visitors to room and apartment numbers of residents
• Contact staff members as needed for visitors questions, etc.

• HEALTH CARE Happy Hours (ongoing opportunity): 2-4pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.
• FRIENDLY VISITOR A friendly visitor is needed for a Health Care gentleman resident who would like someone to both go fishing at the ponds with and play pool with. He is able to transport himself, just needs a person to go with him and help him with the equipment.
• ACTIVITIES HELPMATE - HEALTH CARE (ongoing opportunity) Work side by side with Activities Staff and Nursing Staff to help with a variety of tasks that benefit the resident. Shifts available everyday from 7:30-11:30am, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Check in on residents in their rooms and assist with light tasks (open blinds, obtain items they need, etc..)
• Deliver warm blankets to residents
• Offer books, magazines, activities supplies
• Bring Daily Activities flyer to residents and encourage them to participate in activities
• Help residents get to and from any activities of choice
• Answer Call Lights for light items such as opening blinds, refill waters, assistance with organization in room.
• Help deliver breakfast room trays, and remove trays following the breakfast meal
• RECEPTION DESK - HEALTH CARE We are looking for volunteers for the following weekly shifts:
• Wednesdays 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
• 2nd/4th Saturdays 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
• Sundays 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
• Fridays 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
