Hi Volunteers,

Thank you for your volunteer interest! The SPARK STEM SPOOKTACULAR Annual Halloween Party is an annual fundraiser before giving Tuesday in November to announce upcoming activities for 2025, have fun, and gain donations for the forthcoming 2025 SPARK STEM DAYS.

As a fundraising initiative, tickets, tables, and wristbands will be sold for this event.

THEME: Who's your STEM HERO or villain? i.e., Einstein, Mad Scientist, The Science Guy, etc...
WHAT: Annual SPARK STEM Halloween Party
WHEN: Saturday, October 26th
WHERE: Venue TBA - based on ticket/wristband sales

Volunteers will be needed to manage door entry, prizes, games/activities, a silent auction, a catering/refreshments area, drink stations, a runway, a costume contest, and more. More details, volunteer orientation, and background check information will be provided three months before this event. Through our partnership with NCSI, the National Center for Safety Initiatives will perform each comprehensive background check (a nationwide county criminal search, federal, and two sex offenders registry searches) for $35. We ask all volunteers to contribute a $16 donation toward their background check at on the website, enter a custom amount, and click donate, and the National STEM Society will cover the remaining cost of $19.

Next Event Annoucement:
In October, we will also announce the kick-off of the National STEM Society, Inc.'s annual fiscal year SPARK STEM 365 GALA to raise funds for our scholarship fund, which supports 8th to 12th-grade students with the support toward going to college! The National STEM Society celebrates 10 years of community service, STEM outreach, and Women's advocacy this fiscal year!
