Central Functions
- Offer assistance to those affected by disaster scenes, local home fires, floods and other emergencies.
- Interview and assist individuals and families with their emergency needs caused by disasters.
- Operate shelters/evacuation centers, provide mass feeding, and distribute relief supplies.
- Remember to attend training classes regularly.
When a disaster occurs during your on-call shift, the Emergency Communications Center (Bridge) will call you to check if you can respond.
Eligibility Criteria
- Available for over 12 hours of online and remote training.
- You must be 18 or older.
- Being open to engaging with potential clients, even in high-stress situations.
- Adequate attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly respond to disasters with flexibility.
