Event Ambassador for Low Entropy Foundation

We are seeking enthusiastic and outgoing volunteers to join our team and represent the Low Entropy Foundation at various events. As a volunteer Event Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities including parades, festivals, markets, and other community events to engage the public and inform them of Low Entropy’s work in the community and our thrift store "Thrift & Fund". Depending on the event, you will run an information booth and/or a pop up version of our thrift store.

Low Entropy Foundation is a charity dedicated to enhancing the social and economic wellbeing of vulnerable individuals across all cultures, with a strong commitment to honoring the traditions and perspectives of Indigenous and multicultural communities.. Our programs and services relate to food security, housing, and mental health. We are proud of being active participants in our community.

Time and Location:

Most of the events will be located in the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody) and surrounding areas.

Exact time and location will depend on the specific event arrangements. We will notify you in advance of the time and location of each event so you can plan accordingly.

Position Commitment: We ask volunteers to commit to volunteering for a minimum of 3 months.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in various events to represent the Low Entropy Foundation and promote our organization
• Introduce our mission and projects to event attendees.
• Assist in organizing events and preparing display materials.
• Distribute promotional posters in the community.
• Engage with the general public and answer questions about our organization and projects.
• Assist in promoting the thrift store and encouraging donations.
