ORGANIZATION: University Health System

  • 10 people are interested

Visiting the doctor can at times be overwhelming for people, especially when they are in an unfamiliar environment. This can add stress and anxiety to what is likely already a very trying time. But together we can change that. With the support of volunteers like you, visitors and patients can have a welcoming and informative experience.

As a Volunteer Ambassador, you are often the first person visitors and patients see. You can help ease their hearts and minds by greeting them, answering questions, and wayfinding. This allows them to concentrate on what matters most - feeling better. Simply enter your information. Within two business days, we will send you a volunteer application. Once you are accepted, you will be trained and then ready to begin. It is that simple.

Maybe you have found yourself in a similar situation and someone helped you? Volunteer today and pay it forward.
