ORGANIZATION: Hearth Hospice

We offer two types of volunteer services: Companionship and Administrative.

Companionship Volunteers visit with patients providing conversation, assisting with a hobby or craft, reading, coloring, listening to music, pet therapy, mowing a yard, light housekeeping, and giving the caregiver a much-needed break, etc.

Administrative Volunteers assist our office staff with tasks such as filing, mailouts, copying, special projects, etc.

Description

We offer two types of Volunteers opportunities: Companionship and Administrative.

  • Companionship Volunteers visit with a patient in their residence to provide conversation, reading to them, and or respite care for a caregiver. Their residence may be in a skilled nursing facility, an assisted living facility or in their own home.
  • Administrative Volunteers assist office staff with filing, copying, mailouts, etc.
We service six counties: Bledsoe, Bradley, McMinn, Meigs, Polk, and Rhea. We will pair you with a location that best fits your schedule.
