Overview: The Philosopher’s Stone Community Outreach (PSCO) is seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our team. This unpaid role will be instrumental in recruiting, onboarding, and supporting volunteers who are passionate about our mission of inspiring love, trust, and compassion in urban communities. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies to attract individuals with diverse skills and backgrounds.
• Coordinate the volunteer onboarding process, including orientation sessions and training programs.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records and databases, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
• Provide ongoing support and supervision to volunteers, addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify volunteer needs and opportunities for engagement.
• Organize recognition and appreciation initiatives to celebrate the contributions of volunteers.
• Assist with the development of HR policies and procedures related to volunteer management.

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in volunteer management or human resources is preferred.
• Passion for community service and social impact.

Time Commitment: Approximately 12 hours per week.
