Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Controller, reporting to the CFO. Your expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning will be essential in supporting the CFO in making informed business decisions. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams will be crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing financial reporting processes, including the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate financial projections.
  • Managing the financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end activities.
  • Developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by the CFO and senior leadership.
  • Collaborating with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with audit and tax requirements.
  • Leading and developing a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA designation.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior financial management role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements is essential.

Menzies Philanthropic Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on supporting the orphanages globally, based on the Shirley Menzies 5 Key Needs, designed to create the first eco-regenerative conscious community to heal trauma and provide safe homes for orphans and vulnerable families.

The organization is in is operating at the start-up level, currently working to provide a powerful regenerative, self-sustaining business model facilitated by its 'For Profit’, Social Impact Enterprise, and "Me Is We".

Through the development of residual-producing income streams, the "Me Is We" enterprise will supplement and eventually finance the Menzies Philanthropic Foundation’s ultimate goal of creating eco-regenerative conscious communities for wholistic assistance and development.
