Role Description:
As an Event Photographer/Videographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality visual content during our events focused on promoting health and happiness. Your role involves photographing and/or recording event activities, speakers, attendees, and special moments to document the event experience. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that the visual content aligns with our organization's mission and branding guidelines. Your photographs and videos will be used for promotional purposes, social media, website content, and future event materials. You must be professional, dependable, and passionate about our cause!
We welcome the opportunity to discuss the amount time you have available, whether 1 event or several. We hold events in and around the L.A. area.
Opportunities are also available for remote editing of existing content.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to pass a background check if the event requires it.
- Access to photography/ videography equipment (this will not be provided to the volunteer).
Proficiency in operating professional-grade photography and/or videography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio recording devices.
Strong technical skills in photo and video editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
Ability to work effectively in dynamic event environments, adapting to changing conditions and capturing key moments with creativity and precision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with event organizers, speakers, and attendees to capture the event's essence effectively.
Knowledge of best practices for visual storytelling, composition.
