The DaVinci Center is a multi-purpose community center whose mission is to deliver needed services to residents of all ages in the North End of Providence, Rhode Island. It is the mission of the DaVinci Center to improve the quality of life for the residents of the North End by providing, or helping to bring about, a broad array of quality services and neighborhood improvement projects that respond to the needs of the community.

As a Human Resources Consultant Volunteer, you will support the DaVinci Center staff with Human Resource Services, collaborating with DaVinci Center leadership.

This is a virtual role however, local volunteers are encouraged to visit or schedule in-person meetings. As a volunteer you can choose your preferred days/time of the week to complete tasks.

Responsibilities include advising on relevant labor laws, develop human resource policies and practices. Conduct a human resource assessment, develop an employee handbook, advise on best practices for recruitment, onboarding, retention and performance management.
