About Us: At HELP FROM HATTIE, we are dedicated to improving health outcomes, nutritional status, and suitable housing for those most in need. With a focus on creating access to healthcare and employment, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Position: PR Internship is 3-Month Duration.
Location: Atlanta GA and surrounding counties.
Duration: 3-month time period with the option of employment or extension from the start of the project.
Hours: Number of hours per week and shifts TBD with Leadership and Candidate.
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, but we offer valuable experience, networking opportunities, and the chance to contribute to a worthy cause.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing PR strategies to increase awareness and visibility of [Non-Profit Organization].
• Create engaging content for press releases, newsletters, social media, and other communication channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, influencers, and potential sponsors.
• Monitor media coverage and track the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and events to promote our mission.

Qualifications of desired candidate:

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program, or recent graduate, preferably majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and basic graphic design skills are a plus.
