Volunteers United/AmeriCorps Seniors Program is a program of United Way that recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County.
The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Volunteers are needed to support children ages 5-12 in exploring the joys of gardening and fostering a connection with nature. This position offers a unique opportunity to inspire young minds, promote environmental stewardship, and cultivate a love for gardening. Help assist with several projects and coos a location at one of the 4 club sites throughout Martin County: Palm City, Port Salerno, Hobe Sound or Indiantown.
Hours: Tuesday - Thursday Anytime in the morning/3pm-5pm
Physical Requirements: Must be communicative with children, flexible and lift up to 25 pounds.
Background check required and training.
