Sourcewise is recruiting volunteers to help seniors at senior living facilities for social activities and digital literacy. There are multiple days and shifts for these projects, so you have the flexibility to assist with one or all opportunities.
Social Activities
Volunteers will assist seniors with arts & crafts, puzzles, game boards and many other activities depending on their interests. Each week will feature a different activity.
Supplies, snacks, and refreshments will be provided.
Bilingual Spanish volunteers appreciated!

Digital Literacy Program
Are you handy with a laptop, smart phone or a tablet? Can you answer general questions about technology? Are you familiar with social media? Volunteer this summer to help out with a 4-week digital literacy program!
Volunteers can help bridge the digital divide by showing seniors how to use their device. This program is great for youth or college groups, STEM students, families, and anyone who feels confident using basic elements of technology (email, taking photos, social media, etc).
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Bilingual (Spanish and Mandarin) volunteers appreciated.
Please note: all volunteers must sign a waiver. For Digital Literacy, all adults must have a background check. Background checks are paid for by Sourcewise and take about 20 minutes to complete.

Time: 1pm - 3 pm
Location: Plum Tree West Apartments, 1055 Montebello Dr, Gilroy CA 95020 (3:00 pm - 5:00 pm) - 6 volunteers needed

At Sourcewise, we continue to support seniors and caregivers as we expand our reach to include persons with disabilities and all adults in Santa Clara County. We aim to inform, educate, and prepare all adults within Santa Clara County to better navigate their health and life options.
