ORGANIZATION: A Healthier, Happier Me

Role Description:

As a Public Relations Specialist Volunteer, you will be responsible for managing our organization's public image and enhancing our brand visibility. Your role will involve developing and implementing PR strategies, crafting press releases and media pitches, cultivating relationships with journalists and media outlets, managing social media channels, and monitoring public perception of our organization. You'll work closely with our marketing and communications team to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication with our stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in public relations, communications, or a related field, with a strong understanding of PR principles and practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for various audiences and channels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain relationships with media contacts, influencers, and community partners.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools, with the ability to leverage them to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.
