CRAN is looking for a lead volunteer to manage the adoption cattery located inside the PetSmart at 29th and Willamette in Eugene. While you would be the primary "point person" for the cattery, you would have the support of other veteran volunteers who are trained on all aspects of managing the cattery. Time commitment varies, and is likely 5-10 hours a week depending on season. Responsibilities include:
- Work with volunteers to make sure the cattery is clean and organized and there are adequate supplies of food and other essential items
- Coordinate with fosters and other CRAN volunteers to welcome new cats
- Train new volunteers as needed (other experienced volunteers can do this, too)
- Coordinate with PetSmart managers and associates
This is a great role for someone who:
- Loves cats and wants to make a difference in our community
- Has a flexible schedule
- Is organized, reliable and communicative
This is a hybrid role in that part of this can be done remotely (emails, phone, etc.) and some of it needs to be done on-site so it may be easiest if you leave near 29th and Willamette.
Please submit an online volunteer form if you have questions or would like to learn more. Our Volunteer Coordinator will follow-up with you!
