Role Overview: As a Digital Producer at Yuvoice, you will play a crucial role in the dissemination of information and ideas through our online platform. Your primary responsibility will be to curate and upload articles, ensuring their accuracy, coherence, and alignment with our organization's mission. Through your dedication and attention to detail, you will contribute to fostering an engaged community and amplifying the impact of our content.

Responsibilities:

Content Management:

• Curate and upload articles, blog posts, and other written and/or visual content onto our website using content management systems (CMS).
• Ensure that all published content adheres to our editorial guidelines, including style, tone, and formatting.
• Collaborate with editors and senior editors and the development teams to review, and finalize content for publication.

Workflow Coordination:

• Coordinate with the wider teams to establish deadlines and priorities for content publication.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of content.

Site Maintenance:

• Monitor the performance of published content, including page views, engagement metrics, and user feedback.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in site navigation, user experience, and content presentation.
• Collaborate with the technical team to address any issues or bugs related to the website's functionality.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and basic HTML/CSS knowledge preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• A passion for technology, innovation, and editorial excellence.
• Minimum (1) year of experience in digital publishing, content management and experiencew with various CMS, specifically WordPress

Time Commitment:

• A Digital Producer is expected to commit 5 hours per week, with flexibility around peak times.
