Help Maintain Our Beloved Garden
Are you passionate about gardening and making a positive impact in your community?
The residents at St. Augustine Health Ministries cherish our garden as a place of peace and relaxation. From nurturing plants to enjoying fresh vegetables and basking in the sun on beautiful days, our garden holds a special place in their hearts. However, to keep this space thriving, we need your help! We’re seeking individuals or small groups to volunteer once a month to assist with garden maintenance. Tasks will include weeding, trimming, pruning, and all things gardening.
This opportunity is ongoing and takes place the 1 st Saturday of every month, anytime between 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. We ask for volunteers to bring their own gardening gloves; all other supplies will be provided.

Description
St. Augustine Health Ministries is a mission-driven, faith-based, not-for-profit organization affiliated with Catholic Charities and is dedicated to providing a continuum of health care and social services within our community. Within the Health Ministries, St. Augustine Health Campus cares for the chronically ill and aging through short-term rehab, assisted living, and long-term care. The St. Augustine Child Enrichment Center provides early education and child care for 80+ children, beginning at 6 weeks through preschool. Holy Family provides home health care, residential and community-based hospice services. Emerald Village Senior Living provides independent and assisted-living apartments located in the west suburbs for active seniors 55+.
