ORGANIZATION: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

The US Army Corps of Engineers, at the Cape Cod Canal in Bourne & Sandwich, MA is seeking individual(s) to serve as Cape Cod Canal Visitor Center Volunteer(s). Assigned duties will support the Interpretive Services and Outreach Program at the Cape Cod Canal, including: staff the Visitor Center; greet and orientate visitors and answer questions about the Canal & local area; collect and record visitation numbers; stock brochure racks; operate a cash register for bookstore sales; assist in the daily upkeep and operations of Visitor Center; support & participate in various interpretive programs; help with bulletin boards and interpretive display updates and upkeep; data entry; and other duties as assigned. A position may be filled by one or two person(s) at least 18 years of age. RV site with septic, water, electric provided. Required hours: 24 hours a week for singles. 32 hours a week for couples. Rotating Schedule of days during the week.
