Are you ready to put your photography skills to good use and make a real difference? Black Dawg Farm and Sanctuary needs YOU - our next Volunteer Photographer to help us capture the love, magic, and transformation happening every day on our farm. If you’ve got an eye for detail, a heart for animals, and a camera in hand, this is your chance to tell the stories of our incredible rescued animals and dedicated volunteers through the power of photography.

• Be the Storyteller: Your photos will shine a spotlight on the lives of the animals who have found safety and love at our sanctuary.

As our Volunteer Photographer, you’ll be on the front lines, using your camera to showcase the beautiful work happening here at Black Dawg. From capturing the raw emotion of a rescue to snapping shots of our animals living their best lives, your role will be essential to sharing our story and spreading our message. Whether you’re documenting the transformation of a rescued pig or catching a candid moment at one of our events, your photos will tell the world just how much we care about the animals in our care.

• Animal Photography: Capture the personalities of our animals, from our quirky goats to our wise donkeys, in their natural habitat.
• Event Photography: Snap pictures of our community events, from educational tours to fundraising galas - and maybe catch a chicken photobombing along the way.
• Before-and-After Stories: Document the transformation of our rescues as they move from difficult pasts to bright futures.
• Visual Storytelling: Help us create compelling visual stories that connect with our audience on social media, our website, and beyond.
• Creative Projects: Work with our team to develop photo campaigns and projects that support our educational and fundraising goals.

• You’re a photography enthusiast with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills (bonus points if it includes animals in adorable poses).
• You’ve got a keen eye for detail and love capturing those special, fleeting moments.
• You’re passionate about animal welfare and excited to use your creativity to make a difference.
• You’re comfortable working independently, but you know how to collaborate and work as part of a team.
• Previous experience in animal or outdoor photography? We’d love that - but it’s not required!
