We need help bringing residents to religious services. You may volunteer weekly or even monthly. The volunteer does not need to be any particular religion, but you are welcome to join in & participate in any service. Please understand you may not recruit or proselytize for any faith.
*Volunteers assist the daily Jewish service (afternoon minyan), We begin bringing residents at 4pm. Service is finished and residents returned to their floors by 5pm.
*Volunteers also assist our Jewish service Saturdays, 9:30am to 11:30am.
*Musical events Friday 1:15-3:45
*Musican events Saturdays 1:00-4:00pm
*Music events Sunday 2:00-3:00pm
*Volunteers bring residents to Christian services, and are needed on Fridays, 9:30am to 11:15am.
*New Years Eve 7:00-8:00pm

Description
The Jewish Home of Rochester was established in 1923. We are a 362-bed facility, which includes a 68-bed Transitional Care rehabilitation program and a 37-bed dementia unit. Our organization also provides a Day Care program, Outpatient Rehabilitation and At Home Services.
