JaxTHRIVE is a teen-led organization incorporated in 2017 to tutor refugee and low income students.

We are currently looking for virtual tutors who speak Arabic to help either a 3rd grader and/or a 5th grader who recently moved here from Iraq. They need help with basic English and they need some assistance with their homework.

Description

JaxTHRIVE is a youth-led, non-profit organization with a mission to educate and inspire refugee and low income children. We meet each Saturday during the academic year to tutor refugee students in vocabulary, reading, math and STEM. JaxTHRIVE is made possible by the generosity of donors as well as the energy and commitment of volunteers.
