We are organizing, planning and fundraising now to make this a very impactful and meaningful event.

Each role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the 25th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Stop The Violence youth celebration and make a positive impact in the community. Volunteers will have the chance to work collaboratively with a dedicated team, gain valuable experience in event management and community engagement, and honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through their service.

  1. Fundraising Teams: As part of the fundraising teams, volunteers will work together to raise essential funds to support the event's operations, programs, and initiatives. Responsibilities may include organizing fundraising events, reaching out to potential sponsors and donors, and developing fundraising strategies to meet financial goals.

  2. Marketing and Promotions: Volunteers in this role will be responsible for promoting the event through various marketing channels such as social media, email campaigns, press releases, and community outreach. They will work to create engaging content, design promotional materials, and collaborate with media partners to raise awareness and attendance for the celebration.

  3. Event Organizing Team: The event organizing team plays a crucial role in planning and executing all aspects of the celebration. Volunteers will assist in coordinating logistics, securing venues, managing schedules, recruiting vendors and performers, and ensuring smooth operations before, during, and after the event.

  4. Student Clubs and Group Recruitment Team: This team focuses on engaging youth organizations, student clubs, and community groups to participate in the celebration. Volunteers will reach out to schools, colleges, and youth-oriented organizations to encourage their involvement, organize meetings and presentations, and facilitate collaboration between different groups for a unified effort.

  5. Corporate and Business Recruitment Teams: Volunteers in this role will be tasked with reaching out to local businesses, corporations, and organizations to secure sponsorships, partnerships, and support for the event. They will develop relationships with potential corporate sponsors, create sponsorship packages, and negotiate agreements to ensure the event's financial sustainability and success.

Who we are | PARTI Program is a 501c3 non-profit that promotes youth development and social emotional well-being. Every day we work to change the lives of youth who suffer from bullying, depression, violent lifestyles, unhealthy relationships, and unstable families. Since 2000, we have served over 18,000 youth, expanding our reach to serve youth in Santa Clara County, San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles, California. We have co-created stop the violence and anti-bullying campaigns with young people from middle school through college, in order for youth to feel safe, supported, and connected to opportunity.
