Foster Care Furniture makes furniture at the Maker Shop Boise. The furniture is sold and all proceeds go to the foster care program. We train youth aging-out of foster care in a 13-week training program. As part of their training they assist in making the furniture we sell.

We are looking for a few volunteers to work in this brand new 7,000 square foot building that has all the tools needed to make fine woodworking projects. Volunteers will be trained to use the equipment and help us build various types of furniture.

Volunteers may want to purchase a Maker Shop Boise membership so they can work on their own projects. The Maker Shop is open 7 day per week from 9am until 9pm Monday-Saturday, and 11-5 on Sunday.
