**Volunteer Opportunity: Cybersecurity Tutoring for Teens**

BGCM is seeking enthusiastic tutors to guide teenagers (ages 13-16) through the Google Cybersecurity Certificate course this summer. This virtual teaching position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to make a significant impact on students' futures in the burgeoning field of cybersecurity.

**Job Responsibilities:**
- Provide virtual instruction on the Google Cybersecurity Certificate curriculum.
- Familiarity with virtual learning platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet.
- Engage with students in a friendly and professional manner, understanding their needs and questions related to cybersecurity.
- Respond to student inquiries positively and supportively, offering detailed explanations wherever necessary.
- Guide students through the course content, ensuring they understand and absorb the material effectively.
- Provide brief written summaries or progress reports to parents and students after each session.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned related to educational support.

**Job Details:**
- Dates: June to August
- Schedule: Flexible (based on student and tutor's availability)
- Location: Remote; tutors may be located in any US state.

**Job Qualifications and Requirements:**
- Experience in teaching or tutoring, particularly in IT or cybersecurity, is mandatory.
- Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program or possess a bachelor's degree (preferred).
- High school candidates considered if they demonstrate strong proficiency in IT or related subjects.
- Ability to multitask between multiple windows, students, and courses.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Regular and consistent attendance is required.
