Title: Early Childhood Development Center Special Event Volunteers

Location: 1127 Vandeventer Ave, St. Louis MO 63118

Position Type: Volunteer

Commitment: 3-4 Hours

Position Description: We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with our upcoming special events: Breakfast with Moms, Field Day, Dinner with Dads, and Graduation. Volunteers will help with setup, coordination during the events, and clean up afterward.

Event Details:

• Breakfast with Moms: Friday, May 10th from 7:30-10:30 AM (setup from 7:00 AM, cleanup until 11:00 AM)
• Field Day: Friday, May 17th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (setup from 8:30 AM, cleanup until 12:30 PM)
• Dinner with Dads: Friday, June 14th from 5:30-7:00 PM (setup from 5:00 PM, cleanup until 7:30 PM)
• Graduation: Saturday, June 29th, from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM (setup from 10:30 AM, cleanup until 3:00 PM)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with setting up event areas, including tables, chairs, decorations, and signage.
• Coordinate activities and games during the events.
• Help serve food and beverages to attendees.
• Interact with children and families in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Assist with cleanup and organization after each event.

Qualifications:

• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
• Willingness to engage with children and families.
• Physical ability to lift and move event equipment (if applicable).
• Availability during event hours, including setup and cleanup.
