Do you want to make an impact in your local community? Do you want to help grow our organization, so we can both feed your community, and reduce food waste? Do you have about 2 hours of free time, on the day of your choosing? If you've answered yes to these questions, please keep reading!

Who We Are

Rescuing Leftover Cuisine is a 501(c)3 non-profit that redistributes excess food to people experiencing food insecurity.

What We Do

We partner with licensed food vendors (restaurants, bakeries, etc) and businesses who order catering (offices, production companies, etc.) who know they will have excess, wholesome cuisine and link their food donations to a human service agency within their local community. Our dedicated team of Lead Rescuers collect that excess food on a set schedule (pickups can be once a week, daily, or anywhere in between) and deliver it to one of RLC's partner human service agencies to help feed our neighbors who can benefit from a good meal!

Who We Need

YOU!!

RLC is currently seeking passionate and committed leaders who are willing to take on the role of recruiting new food donors. After a brief training, you will go into your local community equipped with information, flyers and a passion to reduce food waste! RLC staff will help you every step of the way, but you will be the one connecting with potential food donors in your area to encourage them to sign up and donate their leftovers to those experiencing food insecurity in your community!

No heavy lifting required, no car required (depending on area) and no previous food rescue experience required.

Each event is about 2 hours.
