Overview: Wells of Life is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing life-saving safe and clean water to communities in need, particularly in Uganda. We believe that access to clean water is a fundamental human right and strive to make a meaningful impact by drilling wells, implementing sustainable water solutions, and empowering communities. We are seeking passionate and dedicated Volunteers in Marketing and PR who share our vision and are committed to promoting our cause.

We are looking to bring on 2-3 volunteers for this role.

Duties

• Develop and implement marketing and PR strategies to raise awareness about Wells of Life's mission, projects, and impact.
• Collaborate with the Founder to develop compelling narratives and key talking points for speaking engagements, presentations, and interviews.
• Research and identify relevant speaking opportunities, conferences, and events for the Founder to participate in.
• Create press releases, media pitches, and other promotional materials to effectively communicate our initiatives and achievements.
• Identify and engage with influencers, media outlets, and key stakeholders to amplify our message and reach a broader audience.
• Contribute on our social media channels and online platforms to share updates, success stories, and engage with our community of supporters.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage, social media metrics, and campaign performance to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the communications team to maintain brand consistency and ensure messaging aligns with organizational goals and values.
• Assist in developing fundraising campaigns and initiatives to support our water projects and sustainability efforts.
• Provide support in organizing and coordinating fundraising events, donor engagement activities, and community outreach initiatives.
