- A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Carpe Librum will be popping up at in Canal Park (200 M Street SE) for a used book sale fundraiser on Saturdays, March 15 and April 19. We will need volunteers to help us set up in the morning and pack up at the end of each of the sale days. This is a great opportunity to spend an hour or two supporting literacy and positive educational outcomes for DC public school students.
Can you lend a hand?
- The first shift is from 9 am-10am , helping to set up the tables and shelve books according to category.
- The second shift is from 5 pm-6pm , helping to pack up the books.
If interested, sign up via VolunteerMatch and we will reach out with more details. If you’re interested in helping out at one of our other pop-up book sales around the city, you can view our sale calendar here: https://turningthepage.org/events/ . Thank you!
(By the way, we’re not just any bookstore: we’re a fundraising bookstore! Carpe Librum collects donated books, CDs, and DVDs to support the DC nonprofit Turning the Page.)
