We plan to expand the Kansas City Northern Miniature Railroad. We need help navigating the process for permits with KCMO for the building project. If you have an engineering background and experience with the permit process please help us. We already have several subs working on information for the components of the permits. We need an overall coordinator to tie it all together and ensure we don’t miss anything.

Mission Statement
The KCN miniature railroad operates former zoo trains around a 1/2 mile track in Frank Vaydik Line Creek Park from May to October. Train rides are provided for the public to kids of all ages. Days of operation are Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Description
Formed in 1984 at the request of the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Department for the purpose or restoring the original Kansas City Zoo miniature train, our organization began public operations in 1992 in Line Creek Park. Additional trains have been obtained and other improvements have been made over the years. We are an all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit corporation operating as a Kansas City Parks Partner.
