This position is a work camper position - Volunteers MUST bring their own RV or Travel Trailer AND be able to commit from mid-May through mid-October in exchange for a campsite with hookups. (couples encouraged to apply)
Roving Caretaker - 1 campsite available
Volunteers commit to 3 days/week from mid-May to mid-Oct in exchange for a full hookup campsite at Russell Pond Volunteer Village. Volunteers work an approximately 8-hour shift patrolling either the South Route or North Route of the Pemi (Pemigewasset) Ranger District. They are focused on maintaining stocked facilities by replacing toilet paper, cleaning toilets, picking up litter and emptying garbage receptacles. These positions must have a valid driver’s license and comfort level with operating a Forest Service vehicle.
