Love to hike and be outdoors? Want to make a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer? CureSearch for Children’s Cancer’s Ultimate Hike is looking for a volunteer ambassador to recruit participants from the Duluth area to trek either 12.7 or 25.5 miles of the Superior Trail in one day!
You’ll create local recruitment opportunities, distribute flyers, help those interested with registration, and connect them w/ a local coach. You are welcome then accompany as a volunteer to our big event weekend in August. You can also participate in the hike yourself!
Children with cancer need us now more than ever. You’ll be the one to help someone cross their first endurance finish line EVER! You’ll inspire someone who is going to make a lifelong choice to get healthier and give back more. You may help a dad fight back against a disease that is rendering his family helpless. You may help a mom find a more healthy way to grieve the loss of her child.

Description
CureSearch for Children’s Cancer is a national non-profit foundation that accelerates the search for cures for children’s cancer by driving innovation, transcending research barriers and solving the field’s most challenging problems. We fight every day to make treatments and cures possible for the 47 children diagnosed with cancer each day. We do this in three ways:
- We accelerate the search for cures by posing essential challenges to scientists and inviting teams to overcome them with innovative research approaches.
- We transcend the barriers of a broken research system by establishing new pathways to end children’s cancer.
- We provide resources and education, so no child faces a cancer diagnosis without a fully equipped support team.
