Join us in our mission to end childhood cancer with CureSearch for Children's Cancer's Ultimate Hike! We're seeking a dedicated volunteer coach to guide and inspire hikers in the Bay Area as they prepare for an unforgettable 21-23 mile hike in one day! As an Ultimate Hike Coach, you will: Lead Local Training: Organize and lead training sessions for Bay Area based hikers who are fundraising and preparing for the big event. Support on Hike Day: Accompany and motivate hikers on the trail during the hike slated for June 2025 Benefits of Being a Coach: No Fundraising Required: Focus on coaching and supporting our hikers. CureSearch for Children’s Cancer’s Ultimate Hike is looking for a volunteer coach to prepare hikers in the Asheville, NC area for a 23.6 mile hike on the Foothills Trail. Our Ultimate Hike Coaches create local training opportunities for Asheville based hikers who are fundraising and training for the event, then accompany as a coach on the trail the day of the hike on November 2nd. (Coaches are not required to fundraise and meals and lodging for the event weekend are provided.) Children with cancer need us now more than ever. Our Salt Lake City Community Leadership Board is a collective of passionate individuals driving the future of pediatric cancer care in our city. We seek driven individuals to contribute to our Community Leadership Board, where you will be a driving force behind CureSearch's mission within the Salt Lake City region. This board will foster strategic relationships, create sustainable funding sources, drive community engagement, and amplify awareness of CureSearch's mission. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate on strategic plans and initiatives to propel CureSearch's presence and impact in Pittsburgh. Cultivate and nurture relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community stakeholders to secure vital funding and support. Drive successful fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives directly contributing to pediatric cancer research and support programs. Raise awareness about CureSearch's mission and programs through targeted outreach, media engagements, and community partnerships. Provide oversight and guidance to ensure the board's activities align with CureSearch's values and strategic priorities.

Our incredible CureSearch Ultimate Hike Ambassadors are the face of Ultimate Hike in their local community. More than volunteers passionate about the CureSearch mission to accelerate the pace of treatment for children’s cancer, they possess the willing and know-how to help rally their community to hike and fundraise for CureSearch! The Basics: ● Be passionate about CureSearch and the Ultimate Hike weekend ● Host 3-5 recruitment events, for example Try It Hikes, Social Gatherings, Tabling at outdoors stores or events ● Recruitment goal of 5 new Hikers, and guide them through the registration, fundraising, and weekend experience. ● Represent CureSearch and Ultimate Hike at community events, to local hiking groups, to local businesses and more ● Become moderator of your local Ultimate Hike Facebook Group ● Identify potential corporate sponsors/teams, or Summit Club hikers to connect with your staff-partner The Perks: ● $500 credit toward your personal Ultimate Hike fundraising efforts ● Exclusive Ultimate Hike Ambassador gear Term: 1 year with option to renew Time Commitment: 4-6 hours per month For more information, contact Lauren lauren.rump@curesearch.org or visit ultimatehike.org
