Mission Statement

OJTB knows that human service organizations play a significant role by providing access to services, benefits, and opportunities promptly. We will provide for them - the small/medium-sized start-up non-profits, the opportunity to focus on organizational effectiveness, quality, and commitment to excellence; a chance to enhance the services provided to those attempting to break out of the grasp of poverty. Instead of paying exorbitant amounts of rent for only a little space, we seek to provide a start-up facility to work from, administrative and maintenance services, and the opportunity to collaborate or even form partnerships while seeking funding. This program is called "The Non-profit's Non-Profit". We are also including fundraising assistance through travel with OJTB Travel.

Description

"I’m sorry but we need someone with job experience". But you need a job to get the experience! OJTB will provide that first job experience to our clients by providing our customers with quality services.

Volunteers are integral to our success and have immediate openings for positions on our Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee. We are looking for college interns and volunteers to work closely with colleagues to learn about our organization, and how to apply their knowledge to real-world business scenarios. Tasks may include virtual conducting of research projects, analyzing data, developing presentations, and joining in on OJTB events to serving on special committees, you can be as involved as you like. We offer opportunities for service hours and fun ways to give back to the community.
