Lutheran Social Services is in need of volunteers to assist homeless individuals in having a clean blanket to sleep on.

A church in the Phoenix area is offering shelter to homeless individuals in partnership with IHELP (Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program) of Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest, starting on April 9th. They will be hosting every Tuesday for the next two months.

Volunteers are needed to pick up the linens (blankets, sheets, towels) from the shelter to wash at your home or a laundromat, fold, and drop back off at the host church. Clothes and linens will be picked up on Wednesdays or Thursdays and returned no later than the following Monday.
