Are you a seasoned Training Manager with a passion for employee growth and development? We are seeking an experienced individual to lead our organizational training efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for devising and implementing a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with our business objectives. Your primary focus will be identifying training needs, designing relevant programs, and assessing their impact on employee performance and loyalty. Successful candidates for this position typically have backgrounds in business, leadership, human resources, development, or education. Your responsibilities will include enhancing employee skills, improving performance, increasing productivity, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the organization. By overseeing our training initiatives, you will play a vital role in driving employee growth and ensuring the achievement of our business goals. This is a volunteer/unpaid position.

Responsibilities for this role include identifying and assessing future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals, and consultation with line managers. You will draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations, deploying a wide variety of training methods. Additionally, you will conduct effective induction and orientation sessions, monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically, and manage the training budget. You will provide opportunities for ongoing development, resolve any specific problems, and tailor training programs as necessary. It's crucial to maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices to ensure our training programs remain effective and relevant.

Requirements for this role include proven work experience as a Training Manager, a track record in designing and executing successful training programs, and familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in-classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.). Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to plan, multitask, and manage time effectively. Strong writing and record-keeping ability for reports and training manuals, good computer and database skills, and/or a relevant field are also required. If you are a proactive and motivated individual looking to make a difference in our organization, we encourage you to apply for this position.

We are willing to train and offer references. Hours are flexible.
