ORGANIZATION: Seattle's Union Gospel Mission

The Kent Distribution Center is where we sort essential items such as clothes, toiletries, furniture, and other necessities, to be given to those in greatest need. This is a casual atmosphere with fun and friendly staff. Individuals and small groups (3-5 volunteers) are welcome. Larger groups of 6-20 volunteers can be accommodated with advance notice by contacting Edward at elilley@ugm.org.

  • Must be at least 15
  • You will be in a 40 thousand square foot warehouse with temperatures that fluctuate depending on the weather and time of day, so please wear closed-toed shoes and weather appropriate clothing. We recommend bringing a sweatshirt or coat with you!
