Compassionate Care Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals to provide support to patients in hospice care and their families by becoming a Respite Volunteer. One of the most critical needs our patient’s family is relief care, where volunteers offer companionship to patients, giving their caregivers an essential break they need.
Many of our patients are cared for in their homes by family members, who often struggle to find time for breaks or errands. As a Respite Volunteer, you play a crucial role in providing indispensable relief to these primary caregivers. Your presence allows them to step away, whether to run errands, attend appointments, or simply rejuvenate. Your visit can have a profound impact on the lives of both patients and caregivers.
Our Respite Volunteer opportunities are available throughout Minneola and Clermont areas. We will work with you to find a suitable match in your area. Typically, respite visits are 2 hours as needed, making it an accessible and impactful way to make a world of difference in the lives of both patients and caregivers.

Our volunteer can make a difference in many ways to improve the life of patients who are facing a life-limiting illness. From direct contact with patients to providing clerical support, the volunteer is an important part of our hospice care team.
