Counselors In the Community Association is excited to announce an internship opportunity
within our CAREERS Internship Program for a Social Media Manager. This internship offers
individuals the chance to enhance their skills, advance their career, and contribute to fostering community connectivity. As a Social Media Manager Intern, you will play a key role in strategizing, crafting, and sharing compelling content to promote our mission and initiatives.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness,
engagement, and community connectivity for Counselors In The Community Association.
* Create and curate engaging content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with strategic brand
marketing initiatives and organizational goals.
* Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner, and engage with followers to foster positive relationships.
* Analyze social media metrics and performance data to track progress, identify trends, and
optimize content strategies for maximum impact.
* Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to continuously improve the organization’s social media presence and effectiveness.

* Assist with the development of social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive user engagement and support organizational objectives.
* Contribute creative ideas and suggestions for content, campaigns, and initiatives to enhance CITCA’s online presence and community engagement.

Qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with hands-on experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands preferred.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and
engaging content tailored to diverse audiences.
* Creative thinker with a keen eye for design, aesthetics, and storytelling.
* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced
environment.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
* Passion for social justice, community development, and making a positive impact through
digital outreach and engagement.
