Curry is helping to host the Aging & Thriving Expo at 555 Larkin on Monday, April 29, 11 AM-3 PM! We are currently looking for volunteers for this event. The information below includes the number of volunteers, shifts, and duties:
You can sign up for one of the 3-hour shifts of volunteers.
Times:
First Shift - 10 AM-1 PM
Second Shift - 1-4 PM
6-8 volunteers per shift
Duties will include:
- Setup (for the first shift)
- Breakdown (for the second shift)
- Supporting participants and attendees throughout the event (staffing the front door, answering questions, giving directions, etc).

Description
Today, at Curry Senior Center we serve 2,600 seniors within a central city area stretching from Potrero Hill to lower Nob Hill and from the San Francisco Bay to Van Ness Avenue. We provide primary care at our medical clinic and through home visits to clients, case management for those who want it, substance abuse counseling, social and educational opportunities, and breakfast and lunch daily for seniors. In late 2003, we opened a new facility for our social programs and permanent housing for 13 formerly homeless seniors. Throughout our history, Dr. Curry's mission statement has been our driving force.
