Do you play a musical instrument? Are you a compassionate person who enjoys spending time with older adults? You can be a source of support to a hospice patient/family in the final part of the patient’s life journey. Provide relaxation, comfort and enjoyment to a patient through sharing your musical talents. There are options to visit someone at a facility or in their own home in the Northern Virginia area.
Volunteers also have opportunities to assist Goodwin Hospice by making deliveries, making phone calls to check in on families, or helping our staff with administrative projects. Orientation and ongoing training will be provided. Please join our outstanding hospice team for this rewarding work!
*Volunteers are particularly needed in the Fairfax/Vienna/McLean areas.
